2022-04-21 15:57:00

In the run-up to mark Earth Day on April 22, the Nanjing Metro Line 4 has taken on a new look to feature biological diversity in Jiangsu Province.

The subway line highlights videos and photos of more than 200 species in the province, such as the Yangtze finless porpoise, the red-crowned crane and the Chinese Luehdorfia. Jiangsu has rich biological resources and a great natural environment, including the accumulated wetlands area of 2.82 million hectare, or 27.5% of its land area. Such wetlands are in five categories and 16 types. The province’s coastal wetlands are important stopover sites for migratory birds.

The videos and photos were all taken by the province’s photographers. Experts provided the written introduction.

The exhibition will last until mid-May.
