Photo taken on December 23, 2021 shows a new wharf that can service vessels up to the 100,000-ton class is put into operation in the Lyusi port area of Tongzhou Bay, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. At 556 meters long and 42 meters wide, the infrastructure has the planned capacity of handling 7.1 million tons of bulk cargo a year, mainly wind turbines, machinery and equipment, steel and construction materials. Tongzhou Bay will be developed into Jiangsu’s important gateway to the ocean.
