The Design Night of Pingjiang, part of Suzhou Design Week 2021, opened at the city’s Kunqu Opera Museum on December 7.

Pingjiang Road block, located in the northeast of Suzhou old town, is known for the most complete, best preserved and largest historical neighborhood in the city. The event unveiled new designs, travel routes and shopping destinations.

Suzhou Design Week, inaugurated in 2018, is an annual event that shows latest ideas and original practices in Suzhou’s urban renewal, industrial innovation and life aesthetics. This edition features the splendor of Jiangnan culture and highlights Gusu District, which boasts the longest history and richest cultural heritage in Suzhou.
