The International Horticultural Exposition 2021 reopened in Yangzhou on September 28 after it closed on August 8 due to COVID-19 outbreak.

Yangzhou had launched several rounds of citywide nucleic acid testing campaigns after cluster infections occurred in communities. Comprehensive resumption of Yangzhou's public transportation services, including airports, railway stations, wharves and coach terminals, started from September 16. The expo will close on October 8.
