The village has 400 mu (26.7 hectares) of naturally colored cotton, with the revenue expected to reach 4,000 yuan per mu. The cotton in four colors can be used to produce environmentally friendly underwear and the blossoms also boost the region’s tourism appeal. To spur the rural revitalization, local authorities have supported agricultural development in innovative ways, such as using new varieties and building market competitiveness.
