Combine harvesters are used to harvest the wheat at the modern agriculture pilot zone under the administration of the Xingfujie Sub-district in Nantong City, May 25, 2021. The pilot zone of 14,500 mu (967 hectares) has fully achieved mechanized farming including the 100% of the wheat straw returned to the field. It is expected to see a bumper harvest this year thanks to the use of high-quality wheat varieties, with an average yield of 450 kg or more per mu.
