The SHOW JIANGSU photography event, organized by the Information Office of the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, was launched in Zhenjiang City on October 12.

During the visit to Zhenjiang and Yancheng cities from Oct. 12 to Oct. 15, reporters  from EPA, AFP and other international news agencies, along with other foreign photographers, will cover a broad range of topics including efforts to inherit and conserve intangible cultural heritage, transformation of traditional enterprises, and reopening of foreign-funded companies following the COVID-19 disruptions.

The media tour is expected to help foreigners better understand the booming development of modern industry, agriculture and new energy sectors in the two cities as well as progresses made in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects in Jiangsu.

Launched in 2018, the SHOW JIANGSU photography activities have invited many photographers from home and abroad, to explore Jiangsu from all apspects. Their works have been published in some well-known news agencies including Washington Post and The Wallstreet Jounal, greatly introducing Jiangsu to the world.
