Folk artists have created 12 drawings in the form of traditional farmer’s painting, a unique cultural asset of Luhe District, to help individuals combat the novel coronavirus outbreak, with the support of the district’s Yeshan Subdistrict Office.

These works by painters including Zhang Guoliang, Wang Jinfeng, Ding Guanghua and Hubin featured brief knowledge of the coronavirus and practical ways to stay health against a setting of countryside landscape. The works also showed people from all walks of life are united in the fight against the coronavirus.

Typical Luhe-style farmer paintings often use vibrant colors, bold brushwork and exaggerated figurative patterns to depict rural life, earning the name of "original primitive art."
