Joining the media program of "An open future-A media tour of Hainan for representatives of international media organizations and social media personalities", over 60 domestic media staff and international social media influencers visited Lingshui Li’an International Education Innovation Pilot Zone and learned about Hainan's innovative efforts and practice for future education development on Nov. 28.
Situated at the beautiful coastline, Lingshui Li'an International Education Innovation Pilot Zone, co-built by the Ministry of Education of China and Hainan province, is one of the 13 key parks built in Hainan Free Trade Port and is also an important driver for the construction of "Hainan International Education Innovation Island".
The pilot zone, founded in June 2020, has introduced 10 domestic universities and 12 cooperative colleges. Universities there can share all the public services such as libraries, cafeterias, sports centers, and at the meantime, they can develop their own featured colleges. “This is very smart. It makes the full use of the public resources and will greatly promote communications and exchanges between universities and students here,” said British blogger Toby, one of the 13 newly-appointed "overseas communication officers" for Hainan.
