Ulan Bator holds cultural festival to promote nomadic intangible culture, tourism

According to the country's Ministry of Environment and Tourism, the three-day festival held in the Nalaikh District of Ulan Bator aims to honor and celebrate the legacy of nomadic culture and attract more domestic and foreign tourists.

More than 1,000 bearers of intangible cultural heritage and nomadic individuals from all 21 provinces of Mongolia are participating in the festival titled "Nomads."

Various activities include folk music and dance concerts, a photo exhibition featuring the nomadic lifestyle and beautiful landscape of the country and a fair of traditional handicrafts. (Xinhua/Lan Hongguang)
