Two Chinese astronauts on Sunday successfully stepped out of Tianhe, the Chinese space station core module.
Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo, two of the three-man crew of China's Shenzhou-12 mission, completed the historic move at around 11 am Beijing Time.
They were wearing domestically designed spacesuits.
China launched the crewed spacecraft Shenzhou-12 in mid-June this year.
The three astronauts will stay at the space station core module Tianhe for a three-month mission.
