HEFEI, June 15 -- As a unique food in China, tofu originated in Bagongshan Township, Shouxian County, Huainan City, east China's Anhui Province.
Over the past 2,000 years, people here have been committed to passing on the technique of making tofu, which was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2014.
Nowadays, this Chinese delicacy has been endowed with more cultural connotations.
