The girls' football team of No.2 Primary School in Shawan City was established in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in 2011. The following year, the team won the girls' team championship in the Shawan Campus Football Competition.

After continuous and strict training by their coach Xia Songhao, the school's girls' football team has achieved good results in youth football matches at different levels.

As an important part of the growth of Shawan No.2 primary school students, football has helped these children from economically underdeveloped areas in western China to broaden their horizons and increase their knowledge. At the same time, it also provides students of different ethnic groups with opportunities to communicate with and learn from each other at a deeper level.
