Cheng Baoliu learned to take care of his visually impaired mother and do household chores at a very young age, since his father was away from home for work and Cheng was the only one his mother could rely on. Over the years, with helps from the society, their life is getting better. Cheng is now a sophomore at a university in Hefei, and his father has also found a job back in their hometown. Cheng still tries his best to help out, doing part-time work and taking care of his mother during school vacations.
