The copper and aluminum casting technique with a history of hundreds of years in Minxian County is a provincial intangible cultural heritage in Gansu Province which requires more than ten processes including mold making, carving, casting and sand cleaning. In recent years, relying on traditional advantages, the local government has vigorously developed the copper and aluminum casting industry. By adopting the "cooperative plus farmer" model, the local government has expanded its sales channels with the help of e-commerce platforms, and has continuously improved the cultural and collection value of copper and aluminum casting products, making this ancient technique an important industry to increase the income of local farmers.
