The economic expert praised the determination and courage of the Chinese people in their fight against the pandemic and pursuit of economic recovery and growth.

BAKU, Dec. 5 -- China has demonstrated high efficiency in the fight against COVID-19, an Azerbaijani economic expert has said.

"We saw that the country with the most population actually came out of this struggle with good results," said Elshad Mammadov, professor of Azerbaijan State University of Economics, in a recent interview with Xinhua.

The economic expert also praised the determination and courage of the Chinese people in their fight against the pandemic and pursuit of economic recovery and growth.
