Pic story: free education in Tibet

Students have a class at the Qamdo Experimental Primary School in Qamdo, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, Oct. 5, 2020. The Chinese government has, so far, spent more than 20 billion yuan on supporting the region's free education program, making education more accessible for nearly nine million students. Students across all grades can also access additional support through a number of projects and initiatives under 40 educational aid projects, providing grants and scholarships, among others.
