The Kunshan Olympic Sports Center, a FIFA-standard stadium with a capacity of about 45,000, will host the fifth round of the Jiangsu Football City League, or "Suchao" -- a grassroots phenomenon that has reinvigorated the nation's soccer culture than any other football project in decades, between the Suzhou and Yangzhou city teams on June 29.

According to Suzhou Sports Bureau, an astonishing 1.44 million people had already attempted to secure tickets by June 25.

The stadium boasts a trackless design with steeply angled stands, bringing spectator seating much closer to the pitch. Its exterior design is inspired by the folding fan, an intangible cultural heritage of the city. The large overhanging structure ensures the spectators a clear and broad view of the game.
