Geyuan Garden is a well-preserved classical garden, originally renovated by salt merchant Huang Zhiyun during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Its design is notable for a delicate arrangement of bamboo and stones.

In recent years, the garden has enhanced its offerings for nighttime visitors by integrating digital technology with traditional performing arts such as Yangzhou Qingqu (Yangzhou ballad singing) and Yangzhou Opera. This fusion of classical aesthetics with modern experiences has drawn visitors to discover the garden's unique nighttime charm.
