Lasting till Oct. 2, the art festival has three themed sections with 12 interactive activities. While visiting shows, listening concerts and eating delicious food, visitors can have a unique experience combining art, nature and culture.
Set in NIVA Contemporary Art Museum, “ART NANJING”, the core activity of the art festival, displayed over a thousand artworks of photographs, oil paintings, prints, Chinese paintings, sculptures and others, created or collected by more than a hundred famous artists, gallery or institutions. “ART NANJING aims to serve as an annual platform for Chinese artists to be staged at western contemporary art shows and activities,” introduced Zhou Ning, curator of "ART NANJING", and also President of NIVA.
During the art festival, some of the campus art resources will also open to the public, such as the South Institute of Photography and Museum of Zhou’s Photography. There are also art lectures by some well-know professors, golf and paddle-board exercises, live concerts, fashion shows, cosplay shows, firework shows and food fairs, drawing lots of visitors each day.
