Nanjing Forestry University recently hosted an exhibition featuring projects by this year’s graduating students.

Chen Hong, deputy head of the university’s Department of the Green and Intelligent Furniture Manufacturing, said over ten students from the team of “Bamboo Alternatives to Plastic” showcased their innovative designs.

These projects include bamboo bicycle, and multi-functional bathing chair for the elderly, made using bamboo fiber reinforced composites.
