Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) held a development conference to celebrate its 70th anniversary on October 30.

As one of the first aviation institutions of higher education in China, NUAA has nurtured a large number of talents including 24 academicians and chief designers of aircrafts. The university has formed unique advantages in the fields of helicopters, unmanned aircrafts and aircraft engines.

The university also held two shows with 2,022 drones at 18:50 and 20:30 on October 30 to mark the milestone. The shows at the university's Jiangjun Road campus lasted for 10 minutes and 8 minutes respectively. (CFP Photo)
