Lvsi Port is expected to be a key hub to promote the Belt and Road Initiative and offer the river-sea shipping service for the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. It's also the first in Jiangsu to fully apply 5G for automated operation.
Amid efforts to build world-class ports in the Yangtze River Delta region, the operation of the container berths will be jointly managed by Shanghai International Port Group, Jiangsu Port Group and Port of Nantong.
