A media group, formed by over 60 domestic media staff and international social media influencers, had a chance to feel the warmth of Sanya city of Hainan province from Nov. 28 to Nov. 29.

Located at the 18 degree North Latitude, Sanya, with an average annual temperature of 23-24 degrees, is renowned as a “Golden Belt” for tourism in the world.

After a relaxing shopping tour in Sanya International Duty Free City in the previous afternoon, the media group came to Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City on Nov. 29 to learn the development of the province's high-tech industry park.

With a planning area of 26.1 square kilometers, the industry park is mainly composed of five parts, the Nanfan Seed Breeding City, the Deep Sea Science and Technology City, the University City, the Nanshan Port and the Global Animal and Plant Germplasm Resources Transfer Base, respectively.

In Yazhou Bay Science & Technology City Industry Promotion Center, the media group had a deeper understanding of the development, scale and planning of its Nanfan Seed Breeding City and Deep Sea Science and Technology City. Following the inauguration of Hainan Yazhou Bay Breed Laboratory in 2021, branches of 18 scientific research centers and over 400 top-tier breeding enterprises have been settled here.

The media group also visited the International Rose Valley and Bohou Village to learn about the integrated development of Hainan’s new rural industries and the modern life in the beautiful countryside of Sanya.

Starting from Nov. 27, the group join the five-day media program of "An open future-A media tour of Hainan for representatives of international media organizations and social media personalities".
