Over 60 domestic media staff and international social media influencers paid a visit to Haikou Jiangdong New Area on the morning of Nov. 27. Touring in the Jiangdong New Area Planning and Exhibition Center and Hainan Energy Trading Building, the first headquarters building constructed and completed in the new area, the media group learned the area’s geological advantages, ecological protection efforts, investment promotion at the airport economic zone, etc..

Listed as one of the FTP's 11 key industrial parks, Haikou Jiangdong New Area, with a planned area of about 298 square kilometers, is striving to build a world-leading ecological CBD.

With Meilan International Airport as the core, it aims to build an international industrial cluster, composed of airline meal processing, aviation maintenance, aviation leasing, aircraft dismantling and modification, aviation training, cross-border e-commerce, aviation logistics and airport commerce and trade, so as to achieve the integrated development of port, industry, city and landscape.
