The finals of the 2025 Archery World Cup opened in Nanjing on October 14, attracting 32 top archers from 14 countries and regions, including China, Republic of Korea, the United States, Brazil, and Germany.

The opening ceremony showcased Nanjing's rich cultural heritage. The hostess wore a dragon-and-phoenix patterned mamianqun (horse-face skirt), an innovative creation from the Nanjing Yunjin Museum. With a history of over 1,600 years, Yunjin, or Yun brocade, is a traditional Chinese silk brocade produced in Nanjing, renowned for its exquisite craftmanship, elegant patterns, and smooth texture.
