The Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress held a roundtable meeting with local legislative bodies from Japan and Republic of Korea in Yancheng City on October 15. 

Xin Changxing, Secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress, met with participating guests from the two countries during the meeting. 

Xin also signed a memorandum of friendly cooperation and exchanges between the Standing Committee and the Seoul Metropolitan Council together with the Council's Chairperson, Ho Jung Choi. 

Xin said that the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress is willing to work closely with local legislative bodies in Japan and Republic of Korea to give full play to their respective strengths, advance economic and trade cooperation, and deepen people-to-people exchanges—particularly among the younger generation—to foster regional friendship and collaboration.
