Jiangsu made significant progress in urban greening by the end of 2024, including the construction of over 3,000 pocket parks, according to a report released on April 17 by the provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

Amid ongoing urban renewal efforts, cities across Jiangsu continued to promote the development of pocket parks, greenways, and public space greening project. By the end of 2024, the per capita park green space reached 16.41 square meters in the province.
