Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, along with other government agencies, has issued an action plan to accelerate the high-quality development of new energy industry clusters from 2025 to 2027.

Focusing on new energy industries such as photovoltaics, wind power, hydrogen energy, and energy storage, the action plan outlines various initiatives, including building innovation platforms, supporting smart and digital transformations and advancing green manufacturing.

Jiangsu aims to achieve significant breakthrough by 2027 in technologies such as next-generation photovoltaic cells, large wind turbines, and new types of energy storage. The province expects to maintain a leading position in industry scale, efficiency, and market competitiveness across the country. Notably, it will strive to make significant progress in constructing an advanced photovoltaic manufacturing cluster in the Yancheng-Changzhou-Suqian-Huai'an area.
