First migratory birds arrive at Qinhu Lake wetland park

The Qinhu Lake National Wetland Park in Taizhou City, Jiangsu has welcomed the arrival of first batch of migratory birds this year. On November 14, Duan Yadong, an officer of the park, noted that the birds include Chinese spot-billed ducks, Baikal teals, and northern pintails. Duan mentioned that more migratory birds are expected to arrive soon.

Located on the East Asian-Australasian Flyway (EAAF), the wetland offers an excellent environment for migratory birds, including abundant food sources. Every year, over 100,000 migratory birds flock here to spend the winter.
