Nanjing, Hangzhou mutually recognize data products

Nanjing in Jiangsu and Hangzhou in Zhejiang have formed a partnership to mutually recognize and share data resources.

Nanjing's data trading platform has included a "Hangzhou Section" with eight products from the Hangzhou Data Exchange, which also showcases 12 products from Nanjing. This collaboration marks a breakthrough in the circulation and integration of data resources across cities.

The collaboration represents a key step in implementing the National Data Administration’s initiative for mutual recognition and interoperability of data products. It will also improve the efficiency of data circulation and trading, lower compliance and transaction costs, and support the establishment of a unified national data elements market.

Since its launch, the Nanjing data trading platform has also signed strategic cooperation agreements with institutions in Suzhou and other cities. More efforts will be made to break geographical limitations, achieve product mutual recognition, facilitate trading, align data standards, and enhance trust among market players.
