Jiangsu’s market regulator implements 23 measures to boost economic growth

The Jiangsu Provincial Market Regulation Bureau has recently introduced 23 measures to boost economic recovery and high-quality development.
The measures focus on five areas: expanding consumption and investment, stimulating market vitality, strengthening industrial development support, fostering the new quality productive forces, and improving regulation and services.
For example, Jiangsu will encourage consumer goods trade-in and accelerate the construction of major scientific and technological projects. The province plans to optimize the approval procedures for business-related permits, establish comprehensive service centers for private enterprises and individual businesses, and help reduce financing costs.
The province will continue to provide interest rate subsidies to eligible small and micro enterprises, and protect lawful rights and interests of all types of market entities. Jiangsu aims to accelerate technological breakthroughs, strengthen its inspection and testing systems, and comprehensively promote product carbon labeling and certification system.
