Huai’an trade fair inks deals worth 114.9 billion yuan

Huai’an opened its 2024 Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Conference on October 26, attracting over 300 participants from industries and enterprises to discuss the integration of the industrial chain, supply chain, and innovation chain.
At the event, a total of 98 projects were signed with a combined investment of 114.9 billion yuan. This included 11 projects related to new business models and platforms.
Shi Zhijun, secretary of the CPC Huai’an Committee, said that the city currently has 15 large-scale industrial projects, each worth over 10 billion yuan, under construction, with 11 of these projects’ first phases operational.
From January to September this year, the city’s industrial investment, added value of industrial companies above designated size, and industrial electricity consumption achieved year-on-year growth rates of 24.3%, 10.1%, and 27.6%, respectively, all ranking first in the province.
The trade conference also featured a matchmaking meeting for the equipment manufacturing and automotive parts sector. In addition to keynote speeches by experts, several companies presented their businesses and released product demands at the event.
