Jiangsu implements over 600 measures to boost holiday economy

Jiangsu has introduced 629 measures to promote cultural and tourism spending during the National Day holiday period, which runs from October 1 to 7. These measures include extending the opening hours for cultural venues, issuing vouchers, and providing free guided tours and transportation services.
According to the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, more than 2,900 themed events will be held during the week-long holiday. These include 452 cultural and artistic events, 1,490 community cultural activities, 423 tourism activities, and 353 cultural exhibitions. The programs feature an integration of culture, tourism, sports, performance and music in new and innovative formats.
