The grand opening ceremony of Swiss Center Changzhou was held at the Changzhou National High-Tech District on July 12.
Swiss Centers China was founded in 2000 as a non-profit, Sino-Swiss, public-private partnership. Swiss Center Changzhou was first inaugurated during the 2023 Swiss-Changzhou Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Day in Zurich on May 25. After more than a year, it officially commenced operations in Changzhou.
The center will continue to promote cooperation and exchange in fields such as industrial investment, scientific research and innovation, energy, environmental protection, education, and culture. It aims to attract more than 10 Swiss SMEs within five years.
Changzhou currently hosts 42 Swiss-invested enterprises and the Sino-Swiss (Changzhou) International Industrial Innovation Park, an important platform for economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. The park is home to 25 leading industrial projects, with total investments exceeding $700 million.
