The Chinese sports delegation for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, announced in Beijing on July 13, includes 41 athletes, 14 coaches and 3 staff members all from Jiangsu Province.

The 41 athletes, 15 men and 26 women, will compete in over 40 events across 16 sports in the Paris Olympics from July 26 to August 11. The number of Jiangsu’s athletes and events they are participating in are the highest ever for any overseas Olympics.

Jiangsu’s key athletes smoothly qualified for the national delegation in sports including shooting, gymnastics, badminton, swimming and trampoline. The province’s athletes also entered the national team for the first time in the sports of wrestling, women's boxing, break-dancing, and hammer throw. Notably, track and field, rugby, volleyball and fencing have 7, 6, 4, and 4 athletes from Jiangsu, respectively.
