Customized school bus services are getting popular in Nanjing, Wuxi and other cities in Jiangsu Province. 

These services can be tailored to the specific needs of schools, such as passenger numbers, destinations and schedules, allowing students to travel to and from school easily and safely. They also reduce transportation costs for families and relieve the congestion around school gates. 

Nanjing's school bus services mainly consist of two types. There are five regular school bus lines covering the Xuanwu, Gulou, Qixia and Yuhuatai districts, focusing on student pick-ups and drop-offs during peak periods, with each line catering to 1-5 primary and secondary schools. The second type of service is customized for specific schools according to the needs of student passengers and parents, such as route and stations. These buses are usually driven by experienced drivers and include additional inspectors.
