2024 European Chamber Nanjing Government Dialogue was held in Nanjing on March 28. The dialogue aims to build a platform for promoting communication between EU enterprises and government departments in Nanjing, jointly enhance the opening-up and innovation development of Nanjing, and so as to promote stable and long-term economic development.

The dialogue, held by EU Chamber Nanjing Chapter and supported by Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, attracted multiple bureaus and over 80 representatives from 50 EU companies.

The dialogue covered various topics including Nanjing's green development, power supply, international talent policy, business environment and others. At the panel discussion, the enterprise representatives were divided into two groups for further communication with relevant government representatives, focusing on specific topics, such as foreign investment policies, innovation encouragement measures, talent attraction policies, tax policy adjustment and foreigner visa and other specific issues concerned by the enterprises.

"It's a good tradition in Nanjing that has been lasting for more than 10 years. We are delighted to have this opportunity to have face-to-face commmunication with Nanjing government departments and we will work hard to introduce Nanjing to more European investors," said Dr Andreas Risch, Chair of the European Chamber Nanjing Chapter.
