The China International Intelligent Communication Forum 2023, co-hosted by the China Media Group and the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, took place in Wuxi City on September 9.

Hu Jinjun, Deputy Director of China Media Group, and Zhang Aijun, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Publicity CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, delivered speeches on behalf of the organizers. 

Also speaking at the event were Hu Guo, Vice President of People's Daily, Liu Jian, Vice President of Xinhua News Agency, and Lin Shangli, President of Renmin University of China. 

Other speakers at the opening ceremony included Du Xiaogang, Secretary of the CPC Wuxi Municipal Committee, Matteo Renzi, former Prime Minister of Italy, Erik Solheim, former Under-secretary-general of the United Nations and President of Europe-Asia Center, and Shahbaz Khan, Representative of UNESCO Mutisectoral Regional Office for East Asia. 

The forum featured a roundtable discussion with five young people from China and other countries, including volleyball spiker Zhang Changning, a core player in China's Rio 2016 Olympic victory. They exchanged views on the new opportunities and challenges facing the young generation in the era of intelligent communication.
