A business delegation from Wuxi National Hi-Tech District (WND) attended the opening ceremony of the seventh edition of the IOT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC), organized by Fira de Barcelona and the Industry IoT Consortium on January 31 at the Gran Via venue. 

The delegation also held meetings with four European companies that have development plans in China. 

Marc Tarrago, director of the organizing committee of the IOTSWC 2023 made a detailed introduction of Barcelona’s development of IOT and expressed the hope to exchange ideas with Wuxi’s counterparts in the sector. An agreement was reached that a delegation of Wuxi enterprises will participate the IOTSWC 2024 and showcase the city’s achievements in IOT technology and application.  

WND also organized local companies in Wuxi to hold online meetings during the IOTSWC 2023. Zhang Mingping, vice-chairman of Longshine Technology Group, said the industrial event can help local companies promote their products and services to the world. Zhang also expected enterprises from other countries to visit Wuxi for cooperation.
