Taicang Biomedical Industrial Park held a launch ceremony for 24 key projects on June 17.

The city has given priority to developing it into a biomedical hub, now with over 140 enterprises and an annual sale of 20 billion yuan. The plan is to host 500 biomedical and healthcare enterprises by 2025, with the output value of over 50 billion yuan.

Located in the city’s Shaxi Town, the park has finished planning of an area of 6 square kilometers. It aims to become a biomedical industry cluster and an international biomedical hub in the Yangtze River Delta.
