In the morning of October 18, the 2006 China Suzhou Electronic Information
Expo opened on the bank of Jinji Lake in Suzhou. 518 electronic manufacturers
gathered in Suzhou International Expo Center and displayed their products and
technology.
The Electronic Information Expo set up three exhibition halls and is divided
into digital life, advanced semiconductor element, circuit board and electronic
assembly, photoelectricity, software and information service and technological
establishment service.
The expo displayed the newest products of IT industry and
frontier-science and technology. At the "Electronic Information Expo", the
number of participating Taiwan-invested IT enterprises accounts for 43% of total
number of participating enterprises.
The bright spot of this "Electronic Information Expo" is "eMEX online". The
"eMEX online" has been put into operation this June. "eMEX online" offers the
new display space and platform for participating enterprises.
