Total value of import and export broke through US$100 billion in Suzhou in first 8 months
According to the statistics by Suzhou Custom, from January to August, the
total value of import and export in Suzhou area reached US$107.54 billion, up
23.2% over the same period of last year.
Among these, the volume of
export reached US$58.1 billion and the volume of import reached US$49.44
billion, an increase of 30.1% and 15.9% respectively.
From January to
August, the trade surplus reached US$8.66 billion.
