As one of important activities of "the 2006 China Jiangsu-Italy Economic and
Trade Cooperation and Exchange Theme Activity", the 2006 China Jiangsu-Italy
Economic and Trade Talks was held in Nanjing International Exhibition Center
yesterday.
Vice-governor Li Quanlin said that he hoped the talks to further enhance the
confidence and understanding between Jiangsu and Italy, promote exchanges and
cooperation of enterprises on production, technology, brand, funds, sale and
talent persons.
Over 2000 representatives from over 250 industrial and commercial enterprises
from 14 Italian industries, over 50 industrial institutions and service and
consultation institutions, 15 banks and over 800 industrial and commercial
enterprises, over 50 industrial institutions and tens of enterprises from
Shanghai, Anhui, and Zhejiang attended the economic and trade talks, involving
auto, textile, apparel, appliance, machine, electron, chemical industry,
building material, medicine and food fields etc.
