From January to June this year, McDonald's, KFC and Pizzahut have realized
the sale income totaling 341 million RMB, an increase of 45.79%. The sales tax
increased 45%.
Nanjing western-style fast food industry has become the important cultural
chase of city dining consumption and presents the trend of rapid growth.
According to the statistics, the western-style food realized 496 million
RMB of sale income in 2005.
The revenue exceeded 28 million RMB. At
present, the number of KFC in Nanjing has reached 17 and the number of
McDonald's reached 31.
The number of Pizzahut has reached 7 and it
realized sale income totaling 48 million RMB in 2005.
