Residents can pick up Yuhua Pebbles free of charge at "Yuhua Pebble Art Festival" of WHCCE
The other day, a reporter learnt that residents can pick up Yuhua Pebbles
free of charge at "Yuhua Pebble Art Festival", held at the end of next
month.
As a cultural activity of 2006 WHCCE, "2006 Yuhua Pebble Art Festival,
Nanjing, China" will be opened at 9:30a.m. on Sep.29th in the Cultural Area of
Yuhua Pebbles at Yuhuatai Martyr Mausoleum, lasting for 10 days.
With "Pebble-rains from the sky and world peace" as its theme, the opening
ceremony will uniquely arrange guests and tourists to pick up pebbles. As
introduced by the director of the Organizing Committee, several hundred tons of
pebbles have been spread over the designated place, including agates as
high-quality Yuhua pebbles.
