Features of Boston down garments: uniqueness, perfectness and accuracy.
Uniqueness: uniqueness of shell farics, color and shaping.
For down garments, the shell fabrics currently in vogue both at home and
abroad including extra fine peachskin flannelette, high - density brushed TC,
fluorescent - whitened fabrics having high scientific and technological content
are used. As for color, faking into consideration the fashion color popular at
home and abroad, we apropriately control the aroma and lightness, bravely use
contrast color, combine if and the variable "O", "A" and "H" shapes into one
organic whole and have designed many new garments fit for people of different
age groups and with different cultural tastes. At the same time, structural
reform is carried out, detachable surface and lining are widely used and even
one lining can be used with several surfaces, not only making clothing washing
easier but enabling one garment fit for multiple uses, i.e. making the surface
of the down garment be used in spring and autumn transseasonally.
Perfectness: perfectness of making - up workmanship of the product and the
inherent down quality.
For making - up quality of the product, the national standard for down
garments GB/T 14277 - 93 is followed. The padding stuff is 80% eiderdown the
fluffiness and transparency of which comply with the industrial standard for
washed feather FZ81002 - 91. In addition to the national and industrial
standards, the international advanvced standard ASTM (American society for
Testing and Materials) D 4109 - 92 is also followed in processing the product.
Boston - brand down garment has won the title of "Famous - Brand product of
China" for several continuous years, the title of "Best Inspection - Free
Product of Down Garment Industry of Jiangsu Province" for 3 continuous years and
the title of "Fine - Quality Prodyct" offered by the state Garment Quality
Supervising and Testing Centre as per the results of the random inspection
performed by it for 4 continuous years. In 1995 it won the title of one of the
"Four Great Famous Brands of China's Cow Boy Garments" and golden prize at "New
York International Fair, USA". It was confirmed as the "Famous - Brand Product
of Jiangsu Province in 1996 and 1997.
Accuracy: accuracy in keeping abreast the demand of the market. The rate of
marketable product is over 95%.
The domestic market share of Boston down garment is 38.00%, the highest among
all the enterprises of the same industry and its market share within Jiangsu
Province is 52.0%.
In September, 1997, the State Statistical Bureau announced after making
investigation that Boston - Brand down garment took the first place among the
enterprises of the same trade in China in three parameters, i.e. sales volume,
market share and market coverage.
Recently the down - garment products of this corporation have been certified
in terms of marker products in the neighbourhood by China Neighbouring Marker
Certifying Commission (1997 certificates No. C07-210301697, C07-210301797,
C07-210301897), which serves as a further guarantee of the quality of the down
garments. Besides, the quality management in the group corporation has been
dovetailed with the international quality management system and passed GB/T
19002 - ISO 9002 quality system tests for certification (1997, certificate:
SC19).
