Xuzhou Paper Cutting --World Intangible Cultural Heritage
As a kind of folk art, Xuzhou Paper Cutting is well spread in Pizhou City, Xinyi City, Peixian County, Fengxian County, Yunlong District, Gulou District, Quanshan District and Jiawang District, and is especially centralized in most of the towns and villages of Pizhou City, and in Hegou Town of Xinyi City and in Jing’an Town of Peixian County.
Jiangsu Liuqin, Xuzhou Bangzi, Xuzhou Qinshu, Xuzhou Paper Cut, Xuzhou Sachet, Pizhou Paozhuma, Pizhou Paper Molding Lion Head, Fengxian Sugar Figure Tribute are successfully selected in the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritages.

The Fengxain County Sugar Figure Maker takes syrup (malt syrup) as main raw material. Before making the sugar figure, melt the syrup blocks by soft fire, where the making method is based on blowing and kneading under the assistance of stamping, thereby blowing into various kinds of figures, animals, plants and fruit, living goods and various kinds of toy models loved by children, etc.
Tongshan County Dough Figurines
Tongshan County Dough Figurines is known far and wide, and the Fanlou Village in Huangji Town, Tongshan County is a "Dough Figurines Village", well-known at the bordering area. There are more than 200 households throughout the village, and nearly every household can knead the dough figurines. Currently, the amateur dough figurines handicraftsmen are found everywhere in the whole town and there are more than 100 professional dough figurine handicraftsmen.

Pizhou Paper-shaping Lion Head
According to historical records, Pizhou Paper-shaping Lion Head has been handed down from generation to generation with a long history of more than 500 years. It is a lion head mask made for the folk lion dance in Pizhou. The development of folk lion dance and the development track of China’s folk mask art can be seen from the development of the lion head mask.
Originally known as silk string, Xuzhou Qinshu was accompanied by Yangqin in the Qing Dynasty, hence the name Yangqin later. Xuzhou Qinshu is a music opera gradually developed based on the madrigal of both Ming and Qing Dynasties. When being performed, it radiates unique lasting appeal, and the artist sits in the middle, beating the plate and striking the qin, while the accompanists at both sides, mainly performing Yangqin, Zhuizi, Hand Plate, additionally the three-stringed instrument, soft bow Huqin, Guzheng, Porcelain Plate, etc. Xuzhou Qinshu, Suzhou Pingtan, Yangzhou Storytelling are together called "Three Storytelling Operas of Jiangsu Province".
Xuzhou Folk Custom Museum
Xuzhou Folk Custom Museum, situated in the southeastern corner of Hubu Mountain at the downtown of Xuzhou City and constructed following the style of buildings of Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty, covers an area of 5,800 sqm and a building area of over 2,500 sqm and has more than 150 ancient vernacular dwellings. The museum shows the folk custom of Xuzhou from ancient vernacular dwelling, folk handiwork, local opera, Chinese folk art forms, traditional production and life styles, marriage and birth custom, and folk art performance. The museum also has tea houses, chess & card rooms and some other leisure occasions and offers traditional services such as weddings and birthday parties for elders.
