The Biandangang Border Police Station in Sheyang County of Yancheng City received a report from local villagers around 1:00 pm on January 24, saying that a dolphin, about 3.5 meters long, was stranded somewhere 400 meters from the seawall.

Arriving at the scene, the police immediately watered the dolphins using plastic basins, and also contacted the ocean and fishery department.

Professional rescuers, who rushed to the scene around 4:00 pm, used net to carry the bottom of the dolphin, transported it to the deep water area with a rubber boat, and released it into the sea.
