Grand Canal relic exhibition kicks off in Zhenjiang

An exhibition themed at relics unearthed along the Grand Canal cultural belt kicked off at Zhenjiang Museum on June 8.

150 sets of relics from ten cities along the Grand Canal line up the 8,000-year history of the cities.

The Jiangsu section of the Grand Canal starts from Xuzhou in the north and reaches Suzhou in the south with a total length of 683 km. The cities along the Grand Canal boast profound history and rich cultural heritages.

The exhibition is to last until July 8.
